Anna Korenina. Based on Leo Tolstoy’s novel of the same name, Anna Karenina follows the titular 19th-century Russian socialite as she travels to Moscow to save her adulterous brother’s marriage. In her travels, she meets the handsome Count Vronsky (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), winding up in her own tragic love affair. The... world is a stage in Joe Wright’s film, as he envisioned his adaptation as a ballet with words. Sarah Greenwood and Katie Spencer’s approach to the film drew from their background in theater and earned their team a nomination for Production Design.
