Basel Adra, a Palestinian activist from Masafer Yatta, has been fighting the mass expulsion of his community by the Israeli authorities for as long as he can remember. He documents the systematic destruction of villages in his region, where homes are bulldozed and residents are driven out. When he meets Yuval, an Israeli journalist, an unlikely friendship develops between them, despite the great inequality between them and the differences that define them. Yet, their bond is increasingly strained.
