Gente is the new album and tour by Nancy Vieira, one of Cape Verde's most expressive and representative voices. She brings a beautiful blend of Cape Verdean tradition and new sounds.
The title says it all: it's a repertoire of encounters, stories, ideas, but above all, of people. Following in the footsteps of the great Cesária Évora, the deep tradition and memory of Cape Verde are preserved here. Discover the soul of a beautiful country, expressed by a fantastic voice.
