Invitation to Latin American Cello Festival!
This time we will appreciate the harmonic sounds of cellos at the Festival Latinoamericano de Cello! The activity will take place at Protected content
The concert is organized by the Department of Music and Sound Arts of the National University of Art. On this occasion, different groupings of musicians and soloists will perform to pay tribute to the anniversary of the death of maestro Oscar Castro, who was the founder of the Vicente López Municipality's Studio Orchestra.
On this date of the festival we will be listening to Suite Nº 4 of Johann Sebastian Bach and Sonata para violonchelo solo Nº 3, Op. Protected content Britten, both under conduction of José Araujo. Afterwards will be listening to Bachianas Brasileiras Nº 5 and Bachianas Brasileiras Nº 1, both composed by the Brazilian composer and maestro Heitor Villa Lobos (which are extraordinary!), leaded by Eduardo Vassallo on the cello.

This event is organised by the city of Buenos Aires. Admission is free subject to available seating, which means you should arrive earlier to secure your seat.
After the concert we are going out for dinner or a drink in one of the many nice places nearby.
