Cotswold Autumn Walk
This super little Cotswolds route wanders from charming Adlestrop post office through leafy glades and past an Iron Age hill fort up to the not quite- so-ancient Chastleton Church (it only dates back to AD Protected content the wonderful National Trust property Chastleton House. Back through unspoilt pastures with spectacular views, scrumptious is the only word for it.
The walk is about 5-6miles and has a few stiles. At a leisurely pace it should take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours and if we feel like it, we can have a cream tea picnic at Chastleton House during the walk or head to the Fox Inn in Lower Oddington afterwards for some rest and recuperation. Let me know if anyone else was prepared to drive if more than 4 people (myself excluded) sign up.
