You should bring your own chair / picnic mat/blanket or can rent a chair at Ravinia at $10. You can bring your own drinks and food and something to share with the group. I bring a table, decorate it, and also will have a corkscrew and bottle opener and some disposable cups in case you bring wine for yourself or to share.
Bridging the soul-stirring roots of the blues with the vibrant sound of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman takes the stage to narrate a transformative journey through the music, culture, and legacy of the Mississippi Delta—the birthplace of the blues. Freeman’s captivating voice guides the audience through a rich exploration of the Delta’s profound impact on global music, telling the story of how this unique region shaped not only the blues but also rock and other popular genres.
The concert features performances by authentic Blues musicians, whose soulful playing brings the raw energy of the Delta’s musical heritage to life.
