Chucho Valdés, Paquito D'Rivera & Arturo Sandoval in Concert!

Let's go to the Chucho Valdés, Paquito D'Rivera & Arturo Sandoval, featuring Emilio Frías, Concert at Ravinia Festival. We will buy Lawn General Admission tickets and enjoy together the concert after a picnic.
Doors open at 5:00 pm and concert starts at 7:30 pm. Sharing as a group at this beautiful venue before the concert is an important component of the whole experience at Ravinia.
You should bring your own chair / picnic mat/blanket or can rent a chair at Ravinia at $10. You can bring your own drinks and food and something to share with the group. I bring a table, decorate it, and also will have a corkscrew and bottle opener and some disposable cups in case you bring wine for yourself or to share.
With a career spanning over 60 years, Cuban pianist, composer, and bandleader Chucho Valdés has cemented his legacy as one of the most influential figures in modern Afro-Cuban jazz. Hailed as “a pianist of imperial command, possessed of a dazzling, deceptively casual virtuosity” (New York Times), Valdés is a seven-time GRAMMY® and six-time Latin GRAMMY® winner, honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in Protected content .
Valdés returns to Ravinia with Irakere 50 and two legendary musicians, saxophonist and clarinetist Paquito D’Rivera and trumpeter and composer Arturo Sandoval.
Joining the celebration is special guest Emilio Frías, known as “El Niño,” performing alongside his orchestra El Niño y la Verdad.
