Let's Celebrate InterNations Anniversary With Live Blues Music!
September is the month of the InterNations's 18th Anniversary. Let's celebrate it mingling, toasting with your favorite drink and listening to a live Blues concert by Ms Sassy & The Blues Power Band in beautiful Epiphany Center for the Arts!
From the Mississippi Delta and Chicago to the World! Blues music originated in the Mississippi Delta on the South and carried to Chicago by African Americans during the Great Migration! In Chicago, this traditional music was transformed into an amplified urban style known as Chicago blues, characterized by electric guitars, harmonica, and a powerful rhythm section. This genre also had a very important influence on other popular genres like rock.
Ms Sassy was born in Chicago, raised on the low end in the Robert Taylor Homes Projects on 44th state street. She has been recognized in the Women in the Blues museum by Lynn Orman. She has shared the stage with Freddie Dixion, Mud Morganfield, Mike Wheeler and many more of Chicago great Blues Artists and bands. Her Debut single will be released in Protected content .
