Sunday Hike, Monda Guaro Loop

Monda: Guaro circular is more of a countryside route than our normal mountain hikes just to mix things up. It is mostly on wide track and good paths but there is one steep, narrow, rocky section on the ascent to Guaro, also the return to Monda is along a river bed which is not a regular path (it’s a Kev/Steve route!). The last section is along the old Roman road back into Monda. It is 10.5 km with Protected content of steady climb making it a MODERATE that should take 3.5 hours not including stops. Meet at the main car park on Calle Feria in Monda at 09.50 for 10.00 departure.Parking is limited so try to car share where possible.
Please bring plenty of water and snacks for the halfway break; we will stop in Monda for drinks/tapas after.

Appropriate footwear is hiking boots or shoes with a proper deep tread. Trainers with flat soles have caused accidents on our hikes and therefore are no longer permitted.
