Crestellina Ridge Hike; Casares
Crestellina Ridge is a circular 10km hike with 440m of climb around a spectacular valley with views out to Casares, Gibraltar and North Africa. We should see Griffin Vultures with up to a 2.4m wingspan.
Mostly on tracks but the initial ascent is on a steep, exposed narrow rocky path where you may need to use your hands to steady yourself. This is a hard MODERATE due to the challenging first section. This group has not done this route in 2 years.
We will stop for a break at a mirador. Total hike time should be around 3.5 hours.
Drinks and tapas afterwards.
Meet at 09.50 for a 10.00 departure.
Meeting place is the public free parking on the left on the main MA Protected content before you enter Casares.
