Mexican Early Dinner for Multiculturals

Our world cuisine series continues... So let us Third Culture Adults get together for an early dinner at one a well-known Mexican restaurant in Nisantasi.
Mexican cuisine is one of the most popular and beloved cuisines in the world, with a rich history and a diverse range of flavours and ingredients.
This cuisine is known for its bold and spicy flavours, which are created through the use of a range of spices and herbs. Some of the most commonly used spices in Mexican cuisine include cumin, coriander, oregano, and chili powder. These spices are used to create complex and layered flavours that are both savoury and spicy.
Some of the most popular Mexican dishes include:
•Tacos: Soft or crispy tortillas filled with various ingredients such as grilled meat (carne asada), marinated pork (al pastor), fish (pescado), or vegetables, topped with salsa, onions, cilantro, and sometimes guacamole.
•Guacamole: A classic avocado-based dip made with mashed avocados, lime juice, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and spices, often served with tortilla chips.
•Quesadillas: Tortillas filled with cheese and optionally other ingredients like cooked meats, mushrooms, or vegetables, then folded and griddled until the cheese melts.
•Flan: A creamy caramel custard dessert, made with eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla, often served with a caramel sauce.
