Photography in the City of Dreaming Spires

Spend time with us on a photographic walking tour amongst the dreaming spires of Oxford capturing images of the people, the culture, the architecture and taking in the atmosphere of this fine university city.
This event is for photographers of all abilities and experience. You are welcome with any type of camera or mobile phone.
Spend your time with us at some of the most interesting locations on a walking tour of Oxford, while working on your technique with practical help and advice on
* Exposure values
* Shutter speeds
* Aperture openings
* Composition
While these techniques are aimed at those of you using manual control of your compact, DSLR, mirrorless and film cameras, there are some mobile phones and apps that will allow some creative control of the images you capture.
We will be based in and around the centre of Oxford which is a pedestrian friendly area and will give you ample opportunities to explore and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, capture images of interesting architecture, characters, situations and colours.
Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather conditions as we will be outside and wear supportive shoes for walking. Be aware that there are usually pickpockets operating in major tourist areas like this. Keep cameras close to you and bags closed at all times.
