Explore The Barbican capturing images with practical help and advice on: -
* Aperture
* Bokeh
* Composition
An engaging and entertaining opportunity for you to learn photography techniques. With an emphasis on changing camera settings to explore the relationship between aperture, depth of field and how composition can benefit from using these techniques to emphasise the subject through the use of bokeh.
Bokeh: - The aesthetic quality of the blur produced by out-of-focus parts within an image.
Use this event to explore photography and using your camera more creatively. Get practical help and tips to help you capture images controlling aperture settings. If you want to improve your techniques and discuss any questions, thoughts and ideas that come to mind on the subject of photography, I will be on hand to help.

Any lens with a wide aperture of at least f2 or wider, an SLR, DSLR, Mirrorless or compact camera with either manual and/or aperture priority settings.
If you use a mobile phone, the camera or app will need to be able to adjust ISO and aperture independently.
