On 28 October, the Czech national holiday celebrating the founding of Czechoslovakia, the National Gallery offers Free Entry to its permanent collections, and we’ll explore “A Modern Story of Czechia Protected content at Veletržní palác at an easy pace.
Plan:
1918–1938: First Republic (60–75 min) → Protected content End of the Black-and-White Era (60–75 min).
If the mood is right, we’ll add a short encore: Architecture for All Protected content (20–30 min, by quick vote).
After the gallery, we’ll take a scenic ~20-minute walk across Letná to Lokál Nad Stromovkou for lunch and shared impressions.
