Rafael Riqueni & Nerja: Guitar Concert You Don't Want to Miss

Let's enjoy a special guitar concert. You can meet before the concert for drinks at 17.30 or come at 18.45 to go together to the theater. The concert starts at 19.00. Nerja is Rafael Riqueni’s new work, which unfolds like a children’s story that tells how, following a fortuitous event, a group of adolescents discovered in Protected content monumental cave of the town of Nerja in the province of Malaga. Riqueni interprets what happened that night from a fascinating harmonic concept with which he expands the currents of musical impressionism in direct conjunction with elements typical of flamenco.

Rafael Riqueni (Seville, Protected content one of the greatest maestros in the history of flamenco guitar. At the age of fourteen he won two of Spain’s most important guitar awards: Since then, he has published one of the most celebrated colection of records in the history of flamenco and Spanish music.
Following Suite Sevilla Protected content Parque de María Luisa Protected content , he completed his trilogy of Andalusian contemporary music with Nerja. His album Herencia was nominated to the Protected content Awards for Best Flamenco Record.
