Walking the Parks of Ankara - Part Three

Looks like nice weather for tomorrow's event, but with a high Protected content factor predicted, so you should wear a hat and/or bring sunscreen.

Let's walk through more of the parks of Ankara/Çankaya. After meeting in front of Ataküle, we will cross Cinnah Cad. and enter Portakal Çiçeği Parkı and walk down the wooded lane. From there, we will walk along Willy Brandt Cad, cross Cinnah Cad. again (hopefully little traffic on a Sunday morning), and enter Botanik Parkı. Then, after a brief walk along Çankaya Blv, we will enter Basın Şehitleri Parkı. (NEW) OUR ROUTE WILL TAKE US DOWN ŞEHİT ERSAN CAD, AND WE HAVE ARRANGED A GUIDED TOUR OF THE PEMBE KÖSK, HOME OF İSMET İNÖNÜ, THE 2ND PRESIDENT OF THE MODERN TURKISH REPUBLIC. From there, we will walk down Seğmenler Parkı. FROM THERE, WE WILL FINISH OUR WALK AT KUĢULU PARK (which WILL finish us at the start of Tunalı Hilmi, a nice place to congratulate ourselves with either a nice cup of coffee/tea or even a beer.
