Come and join us for a long weekend trip to the Bale Mountains National Park. Let’s visit Ethiopia's most important biodiversity

Day 1: The park is situated around 425km southeast of Addis so we will make an early start leaving Addis Abeba Protected content to drive to Dinsho National rough Assela we will reach Dinsho in the early evening. After a brief break, we will have time to make a short hike along the northern part of the park. In the late afternoon, we will drive to Goba Protected content from Dinsho NP) where we will check into a hotel. In the evening, we will have dinner and stay the night at hotel Wabe Shebelle Hotel in Goba.

Day 2: Excursion/Day trip to Sanetti Plateau
In the morning, after breakfast, we will drive to the Sanetti Plateau (altitude of Protected content , with Afro-alpine Moor land and beautiful wild alpine scenery) and then drive to Areana Forest to visit. Overnight at Wabe Shebelle Hotel, Goba.

Day 3: We will visit Sof Omar Caves around 110kms from Bale Mountain. This is one of the world's most spectacular and extensive underground caverns. At 15.1 kilometres long, Sof Omar Cave is the longest cave in Ethiopia and the largest system of caves in Africa, through which the Weib River flows. Overnight at Wabe Shebelle Hotel, Goba.

Day 4: We will drive back to Addis Ababa via Bekoji – Assela after breakfast. We will stop for lunch at Assela and arrive in Addis Ababa late evening
