Deep Time Walk
From Stardust to Us - A Deep Time Walk is a transformative journey through 4.6 billion years of Earth history via a 4.6 km guided walk where each step is half a million years, every meter 1 million years.
We'll go on a circular hike at Ciutadella Park, exploring natural history, our connection to nature and the interconnection between all life on Earth through time. We'll combine science, movement, exercises, exchanges and reflections while exploring the climate and ecological crises and how we can take further action.
It's a chance to come together, share learning and connect to deep time in a memorable way. Bring water, an snack and walking boots. We'll be walking 4.6 km at a very leisurely pace, with plenty of stops on the way to talk about the critical milestones of Earth's 4.6 billion year history.
The walk will be guided by Paco Briseño, a certified Deep Time Walk facilitator.
