An abacus is often used as a child’s toy, yet in the right hands it is a powerful calculating tool.
Similarly, LEGO®: the small pieces of brightly coloured plastic children use to play, can also be used as a powerful tool that can be used for communicating, sharing ideas, discovering new ideas and problem solving.
In this 2-hour workshop, Ian Gibbs gives a fun and thought-provoking demonstration of how LEGO® can be used as a powerful learning tool

Ian Gibbs is an international author, TEDx speaker and learning specialist.
He’s also an international speaker on Learnability and personal learning strategies.
