An abacus is often used as a child’s toy, yet in the right hands it is a powerful calculating tool.
Similarly, LEGO®: the small pieces of brightly coloured plastic children use to play, can also be used as a powerful tool that can be used for communicating, sharing ideas, discovering new ideas and problem solving.
In this 2-hour workshop, Ian Gibbs gives a fun and thought-provoking demonstration of how LEGO® can be used as a powerful learning tool

Short Bio
Ian Gibbs is an international author, TEDx speaker and learning specialist.
He’s also an international speaker on Learnability and personal learning strategies.
Through his seminars, workshops and 1-to-1 coaching, Ian has helped thousands of students of all ages become more effective learners and get better exam results. His audiences include IESE Business School, Institut Montgròs, UP! Training Club, Col.legi Sagrada Familia, Institut Picasso, Esc. Nabí, Esc. Meritxell, Institut Quatre Cantons, Saint Nicolas School and HP Sant Cugat.
Originally from England, he now lives with his family in the Natural Forest of Collserola, just next to Barcelona.
