Women Nobel Prize Winners: An Exhibition
Join us in this temporary exhibit honoring Alfred Nobel and 12 Nobel Prize winners out of the 49 Nobel Prizes awarded to 48 women (Curie won it twice Protected content Medicine/Physiology; 14 in Literature; 2 in Physics; 4 in Chemistry; and 16 won the Peace Nobel Prize) since Protected content . There are 2 women in the exhibit that almost won the Prize: the Polish Irena Sendler (Peace Nobel Prize, jailed and tortured for saving Protected content children from the holocaust) and the Spaniard Concha Espina, nominated 3 times in Literature). Click on the secondary photos for several pictures of the winners and some of the non-winners.
Please arrive on time, at 5pm will start going through the exhibit. Afterwards, we´ll go grab a bite or a drink nearby (suggestions welcome!).
