Learning Russian in New Year Style
Dear friends,
In anticipation of the New Year holidays, we invite everyone to an open lesson titled "New Year in Russian Style". This event is part of the series of free open lessons on the Russian language held at a Cultural Foundation near Las Ramblas.
With the sounds of famous New Year's songs, we will write greeting cards with warm wishes for our family, colleagues, and friends.
Let's all together explore the similarities and differences between Ded Moroz (Father Frost, Russian Santa) and Papa Noel—the main characters of the upcoming holidays. We'll learn about the gifts they traditionally bring to children and adults and make wishes for the upcoming year of Protected content .
We’ll discuss the main traditions of celebrating New Year in Russia, find out who Snegurochka is and how she is related to Ded Moroz, and together sing one of the most popular New Year's songs.
Would you like to experience a real Russian New Year? Then hurry to our open lesson to celebrate the upcoming holidays!
The session will be mostly in Spanish (and Russian as a foreign language of course!)
Admission to the open lesson is free, but it is MUST to get registered with the following link: Protected content
Enjoy the experience!
Best wishes,
Galina
