Diwali Celebration
Diwali is the Hindu festival of light symbolizing light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Let's light a candle or diya (clay oil lamp) to end the darkness from our lives, our communities and our world! Spread happiness and joy and inspire one other!
This event is in collaboration with the Dallas community and others.
Get ready...
-> Have some candles or diya ready! We'll light them together
-> Buy some Indian food and/or sweets, and enjoy it in each other's company
-> Wear Indian ethnic clothes (if you wish)
-> Dance some Bollywood tunes
