Mass of the Artists Centenary -Church Will Look Like Art Gallery
This is the 100th anniversary of “The Mass of Artists” has become the unmissable event for artists and their public.
Our fabulous Consul, artist Anne Pivron, will be participating with a painting! Come to say hello to Anne, see her art and meet other artists in this immersive experience.
The Mass is organized by the chaplain to artists, Brother Yves-Marie Lequin , in collaboration with visual artists, photographers, actors, dancers, puppeteers, graffiti artists, musicians, singers, poets, and others who will make this Mass a powerful and unifying moment.
With Protected content , on the theme of "We, the Artists" for the 100th anniversary of the Mass.
The church then takes on the appearance of an art gallery and a pious fair, mixing with the usual parishioners, opera singers, dancers, painters, sculptors, all kinds of musicians (the liturgical organist meets the electronic music composer).
Unlike a performance, this is truly a mass, a sacred, spiritual service. All are focused on that which transcends them and which, mysteriously, secretly animates their creative activity.
The celebration, open to all, will continue with an aperitif.
