Go Outside to Experience Augmented Reality

The event is ending on June 20th, so there is a limited time left to experience this innovative artistic exhibition. Ilan Dana’s multisensory work features 23 pieces with unusual aesthetics displayed around the Angela Peralta Theater near Lincoln Park. This augmented reality exhibition uses QR codes on each artwork, allowing visitors to scan and watch the static images come to life through their phones.
Thanks to this technology, the artworks transform into moving pieces that explore themes such as biological identity, perception, and the relationship between humans and the nonhuman world. Attendees are encouraged to bring fully charged phones and have good mobile data or a reliable internet connection to fully enjoy the AR experience without interruptions. If anyone is interested in joining, there is an invitation to meet up for this artistic moment followed by coffee, with details shared via a private group link: Protected content
