Join Cal Poly Pomona's Michi and Walter Weglyn Endowed Chair of Multicultural Studies and Intertrend Communication for a film screening of "Bad Axe" by David Siev.

Plot: This film follows a vivid depiction of the year Protected content an Asian American family living in rural Michigan during the pandemic as they fight to preserve their restaurant and pursue the American dream amidst challenges posed by a pandemic, Neo-Nazis, and deep-seated generational scars from the Killing Fields.

After the movie screening, there will be a Q&A with the director, David Siev.
