After a short summer break, we return in September to carry on getting to know Nobel Prize winners. For September we have chosen Alice Munro, the Canadian short story writer - perfect read for your holiday! Alice Munro won the Nobel Prize in Protected content . Her work has been described as having revolutionised the architecture of short stories, especially in its tendency to move forward and backward in time. Her stories have been said to "embed more than announce, reveal more than parade.” (source: Wikipedia)

Via this link ( Protected content ) you can access 25 of her short stories, choose one or a few and discuss with us in our meeting.

We would kindly ask you to only sign up if you are coming, if something turns up, cancel beforehand. Please respect the time and effort we put into the book club.

Wishing you a nice a summer, hope to see you in September!
