Water of Leith - Walk & Lunch
Come along for a Sunday walk along the Water of Leith pathway ending with a lunch in Leith.
The activity will start at the Water of Leith Visitor centre in Slateford. The Water of Leith Visitor Centre is situated by the Water of Leith and offers a free interactive exhibition on the Water of Leith, its history and wildlife. The centre even has a working water mill!
We will spend about 30 mins at the visitor centre and then make our way down the Water of Leith walkway towards Leith. The walkway is a delightful stroll away from the hustle-and-bustle of the city and taking us through the picturesque Dean Village and Stockbridge before we reach Leith Dock.
A table has been reserved at the Nobles Cafe & Restaurant, an elegant Victorian cafe-bar where we can enjoy a well deserved lunch after our morning stroll.
