Let's discover Excel together (Eng)
Dear friends,
I am delighted to invite you to a series of “Excel” weekly training webinars. The whole course will be lasting for about 1 month (4/5 weeks), requires about 2 hour per week. Together we will go through practical examples on a range of business problems.
Small quizzes will be provided during the course.
Here is the indicative syllabus.
Financial modeling overview. Formulas in Excel.
1. Keyboard shortcuts
2. Financial Modelling Golden Rules
3. Model development process: model specification, design, and calculation
4. The Three F’s: Formatting, Functions, and Formulas
- data preparation and formatting
- data validation
- basic excel formulas and functions (arrays, lookups, offset, index, match etc.)
- external links
- pivot table
5. From theory to practice. Practical exercises
The universal English version of Excel will be used during the course, Russian names of functions will be communicated.
