Hike and the City - Zigzag in Trier/Treves, Germany
This is an all-day activity.
We will start at 10:30 a.m. from Protected content
. If you are coming by car, very close is the Protected content
with plenty of places for parking.
We will do a hiking zigzagging loop of approx. 12 km in the parks, hill, and mostly on the streets of Trier.
Trier is famous for the Roman Empire vestiges: Porta Nigra (entry 4 €), the Amphitheater (4 €), the Emperor Thermae (4 €), Aula Palatina, etc.
Trier is also known as the father of Communism philosophy: Karl Marx, author of Manifesto of the Communist Party and Das Kapital.
Get with your sandwiches, water, hiking clothes & boots, etc.
(!) You need a good physical condition.
Carpooling to be organized ad-hoc. Please let the others know if you can bring somebody with you in your car.
