Hi hikers,
For this Saturday I propose to do what it is probably the most classical hike in the whole “Sierra de Guadarrama”. We will start in Cercedilla village and walk through some of the most historic routes like “Camino Puricelli”, “Calzada Romana” and most remarkable “Camino Schmid”.
The idea is to walk only the way up, avoiding the descent, so we will need to organize car sharing. We will all meet in Puerto de Navacerrada parking at 8.30 am. Please, be superpunctual, only 10 minutes courtesy time. We will leave some of the cars in this parking and will go with the other cars to Hostal Aribel in Cercedilla for a coffee before we start the route.
Warnings:
Weather: The weather forecast for Saturday is dry but very chilly. So, take appropriate clothes. There might be some snow, so HIKING BOOTS are COMPULSORY.
Hike: 15 km long / Protected content of ascent. No need to be a mountain climber expert but you need to be in good shape (and mentally strong). Protected content .
Car sharing: We need to coordinate with all the available cars. Please, let me know who is providing a car. Place cannot be guaranty for those coming with no car. It will all depends on cars available.
Confirmation only by private message.
Any question ask me
Cheers,
Alex
