Kathak Dance Performance in Central London

Kathak Kollective presented by ANKH UK, celebrates Kathak in its many forms.

The event showcases the Guru-Shishya parampara, highlighting mentorship, artistic exchange, and discipline. It emphasizes Kathak’s ongoing evolution, where classical technique meets modern aesthetics, illustrating the dedication required to sustain this art form. Dancers join from both UK and India finding the common joy for dance and collaborate to curate an evening of celebration!

Since its founding in Protected content , ANKH has fostered dialogue between tradition and contemporary movement, particularly within the UK’s artistic spaces under the guidance of Gauri Sharma Tripathi who has mentored and choreographed all the performers this evening.

Performers include Trishna Kumari, Seema Patel, Jesal Patel, Shreeya Parulekar, Isha Tripathi, Sneha Masurkar and Tarini Tripathi.
