If Saigon Is Not Happy, Let’s Take a Ride Out
This trip to Go Cong town follows the national road #50 across the newly built My Loi Bridge, which witnesses less traffic than the main skeleton national road #1. Go Cong is to the South East of Mekong Delta region and contains two thirds of the Protected content houses in Tien Giang province.
Most places we are going to visit in Go Cong will be ancient architectures and small antique royal mausoleums, namely the ancient villa of former governor Nguyen Phu Hai, the Protected content villa of the first Provincial Chief of Go Cong and the Trung communal house built in the late 19th century, the mausoleum of Grand Duke Pham Dang Hung.
Depending on production day, we will visit C-BREWMASTER BREWERY to observe their craft beer making process.
I’ll see if we can also visit the Go Cong Altar Cabinet Village to observe the traditional carpentry of Vietnam.
I’ll come ride my motorbike for a distance of 65 km to the town. The trip will be a round trip for a day hence we shall expect to have lunch in town with local food. If you have your own diet, please bring your own food.
Your safety for the ride is our priority. Only members who are eligible to ride a motorbike in Vietnam can join. The bike you ride should be in good conditions for a long ride and it should have lawful papers with it. Please wear a proper helmet and take care of your own safety on the way. Our group can go slow as we prefer not losing any of us behind.
Come join us for a happy ride out of the city!
