Visiting a Nature Center Near A Lake
Protected content in Reston provides a variety of educational resources, programs and facilities. Its mission is to foster good environmental stewardship in the community. The nature programs support environmental education and action. We all can conserve and enjoy the beautiful natural areas. The Nature Center was named after Reston’s first Open Space and Nature Center Director, Vernon J. Walker who believed in a healthy coexistence of nature and people. Let's explore some of the 72 acres of woodlands and the trails' entrance to the 44-acre Lake Audubon. Meeting location is next to the Protected content
