Welcome to our Internation’s first Yin Yoga class! You'll have the chance to experience a new type of yoga in Colombia, connecting deeply with your flexibility and emotions.

Our Yoga Teacher is Carolina Franco, certified in Yin Yoga and Tibetan Bowls. Carolina teaches at Evolation Yoga Colombia, and provides classes with a deep level of connection with your mind and body, using fascia release techniques and sound.
Her style has a big influence from her teachings in Bali.

What's Yin Yoga about?
This practice looks for a deep connection with your body and the connective tissues: joints, ligaments, tendons and all the fascia that surrounds your muscular system. The ultimate goal is to work activating tissue's elasticity through deep bending asanas.

Benefits of this practice include deep meditation, breath, increasing flexibility ranges and relaxation. Doing Yin Yoga also prevents joint issues, and prepares the body for high impact sports such as running, cycling, cross-fit, reducing articular pains in the lower back, spine, knees, hips, neck and shoulders.

In the emotional level, practicing Yin Yoga helps you to connect deeply with your body sensations, releasing issues that store in your tissues, causing rigidity to your body and mind.

We'll practice Yin closing with Sound Meditation, with Tibetan Bowls.

What do I need to bring with me?
1. Yoga Mat
2. Comfortable sports clothing (prepare for wind)
3. Water
4. Donation (this event is for free; however, we appreciate your energy and voluntary contribution for the teacher. Sharing is caring!)

Duration: 1 hour. Including meditation with Tibetan Bowls.
