Sailing Yacht Training Program (30 Hours) - Beginner Level
This training has been designed especially for those who would plan a holiday by hiring a bareboat and be the skipper himself / herself or who would, someday, wish to buy a boat. This training is suitable for those who are determined to take their first step into sailing and seamanship or those who have already taken this step but have the intention to improve their practice with more miles for being a better skipper or a crew member.
The total duration of the training is 30 hours, including 6 hours theoretical and 24 hours practical, and all of the trainings take place on the boat.
Trainings are held on Saturdays and Sundays between 10.00 and 16.00. When registering, it is important to make sure that you would be able to spare 5 weekend days of 6 hours each. (not necessarily consecutive weekends) After finishing the training, if the graduates would like to proceed to have their own official skipper licence they will be assisted accordingly to get “International Bareboat Skipper” licence given by the association called "International Yacht Training (IYT)" - based in Canada, which is accepted worldwide.
