Fintech Titans - Remittances
As mentioned previously, i will start bringing some FinTech/ Tech related events to this group in addition to the normal professional networking. Many of you have previously responded you would be interested in such events.
Worldwide, cross-border remittances have grown sixfold in the last two decades. The World Bank's Migration and Development Brief puts total remittances at US$636 billion based on a study in Protected content . Top of the list is India, where US$70 billion flowed, with China second at US$64 billion and Philippines at US$28 billion respectively. It is said that developing countries will continue to receive over 75 per cent of these remittances. Singapore is one of the top markets for these remittances. Singapore Fintech Ecosystem now offers best range of products in remittances for corporates & consumers.
