Cultural Discussion: Bruno Schulz: “The Street of Crocodiles”

Let‘s get together at a nice coffeehouse and discuss in English one of the most celebrated Polish writers of our times: Bruno Schulz
He was born in Protected content Drohobycz. A teacher by profession, his energy expressed itself through fiction, correspondence, drawing, and painting.
The Street of Crocodiles (Sklepy cynamonowe "Cinnamon Shops") is a collection of short stories which were written in Protected content
The aim of this meeting is to celebrate the joy of reading, share ideas, and meet new people.
This is a casual get-together, not an academic one; whether you are a bookworm or not, everyone has great literature appreciation and interpretation.
Kindly read in advance only 3 short texts (total 20 pages)
The selected short stories are the following:
-The street of Crocodiles
-The gale
-Cockroach
