Dear InterNations members and friends!

Join us for a special InterNations cultural night as we attend the concert “Cantares do Brasil”, performed by the Goiânia Symphonic Choir under the direction of Ângelo Dias at Teatro Asklepios.

In celebration of Goiânia’s 92nd anniversary, this performance presents a collection of Brazilian choral works offering a vivid panorama of the nation’s musical creation. The program will feature compositions by three of Brazil’s greatest masters: Heitor Villa-Lobos, Francisco Mignone, and Camargo Guarnieri.

Heitor Villa-Lobos Protected content – often regarded as the father of Brazilian classical music, Villa-Lobos fused European classical forms with Brazilian folk rhythms and melodies, creating a unique national sound.

Francisco Mignone Protected content – known for his lyrical and emotional compositions, Mignone’s music draws on popular Brazilian styles like samba and modinha.

Camargo Guarnieri Protected content – a passionate defender of Brazilian musical identity, Guarnieri’s choral and orchestral works are rich in rhythm, color, and national character.

It will be a night of art, culture, and harmony—perfect for anyone who appreciates music that speaks to the heart and soul of Brazil.

The entrance is free, so what are you waiting for? RSVP now to join us for this beautiful cultural experience, and feel free to invite your friends and fellow expats to share this unforgettable evening of Brazilian music!
