Fair Housing Bikeathon
Join us for the 3rd annual Fair Housing bike ride bringing awareness to the civil rights history in Detroit.
Stops on the trail will include the Virginia Park Community Shopping Plaza, one of the first minority owned and built shopping centers in the nation & first Farmer Jack in Detroit, the Raymond and Rosa Parks Flat, the Shrine of the Black Madonna, King Solomon Baptist Church, and the Detroit Association of Women’s Club.
Some items to note (Please READ CAREFULLY):
1. The ride will start exactly at 10:30am. Please come at least 30 min earlier. They will leave and not wait for anyone.
2. All participants must bring and wear a helmet.
3. Bikes are NOT available to rent, so please bring your own bike.
4. The ride will be approximately 15 miles. The pace will be between Protected content . There will be stops along the way.
