Yes, named after Betty Friedan’s ground-breaking work that ignited the second-wave feminist movement, the exhibition brings Çelikel’s long-standing textile and embroidery pieces to audiences in Bodrum for the first time.
Through a contemporary, feminist, and playful lens, Çelikel reinterprets traditional handcrafts often associated with women. Her works—infused with Bodrum’s feminine energy—extend beyond the gallery walls to offer an unforgettable experience. We love her art!
