Follow the Bodrum Cup Boat Trip - Will Be Official Event

It’s back- the 37th Bodrum Cup regatta Protected content , with a very different route starting from Yalikavak then crossing into the Gulf of Mandalya to Iassos, before returning to Bodrum. We can’t all get there! But thankfully, the regatta boats do return to Bodrum to race the last day’s leg in front of Bodrum bays.
Where better to see the glorious sight of wooden gulets under sail than from a local boat itself? On the last day of the regatta, Saturday 25 October, one of our favourite boats, the Bayside or Queen Elizabeth, is available to go out from Halikarnas jetty, at Kumbahçe (check map), motor along the coast , around Black Island and perhaps over towards Bitez for a swim and lunch spot, and view the gulets as they sail by.
The stated route is around Black Island, subject to winds and confirmed on the day, so we hope to see sails up!

Sign up - to come board from 9:30, the bar is open for sales of soft and alcohol drinks, lunch is included, bring swim gear but also wind-proof jackets, binoculars and cameras! It is a fun day!
