Hike to the Armet Glacier and Blueberry Picking
Nearly every year, at the beginning of August, I go to the Alps' westernmost glacier in order to witness its slow death... And it's also the season for blueberries, so I take the chance to pick some on the way. You're welcome to join!
The hike is about 6 hours (+ picnic and blueberry-picking time), with Protected content uphill. It's a rather difficult one, because the path is steep and rocky and the last part of the hike is out of any path. So please join only if you are an experienced hiker and you have good hiking shoes. You should also have no fear of heigths because some parts of the path are a bit impressive, though not really dangerous.
Start of the hike at a car park just after Col d'Ornon around 9:00, in order to reach the glacier for picnic. I'll come from Grenoble by car, we can share a car if you tell me a bit in advance (I only have 1 seat free in my car, but if there are more people we can rent a Citiz shared car). Departure from Grenoble at 8 (meeting point to be defined if other people join from Grenoble).
