Guided Tour: Brazilian Pop Art: Avant-Garde 1960’s- 70’s

Hi everyone! I’m glad to be back in organizing our cultural activities!

This time we will be joining a guided tour for the exhibition “Pop Brasil: vanguardia y nueva figuración, Protected content , which is taking place at the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA).

🖼️ The exhibition displays a collection of more than Protected content , including artworks from the Brazilian museum Pinacoteca de São Paulo, Roger Wright’s, Malba’s and Costantini’s collections. According to MALBA, it’s the most important and extensive exhibition presented in Argentina on the innovative and radical art of Brazilian artists from those two decades, once the displayed pieces of art reconfigured the experience of the body in its relationship with forms of protest, popular culture, gender politics, public space, the domestic sphere and consumption. 🎟️ Tickets to the museum can be purchased online (grants access for the whole museum): Protected content . However, if you decide to buy it directly there, we recommend that you arrive at least 30min in advance to queue, once it may be crowded due to our tour being on a Saturday afternoon.
