Exploring Temples and Walls of Old Shanghai
Anyone still on holiday and up for a morning walk in the Nanshi district? Plan is to roughly follow the path described at Protected content and warp back through time, by entering a few historical sites that have been well reconstructed: the Dajing tower, with what remains of the old city walls, the taoist temple of the White Cloud, the Buddhist Chenxiang temple, the Temple of the City God and the famous Yuyuan gardens. We'll probably spend 20 minutes per site, so as to finish by lunch time.
Meeting point: let's meet at exit 2 of Dashijie station at 10:30.
