La Luz (US Surf Rock)
La Luz is a band that proves that surf rock can be much more than sun and beach. Based in Seattle and fronted by Shana Cleveland's signature guitar playing, the quartet creates a sound that is both dreamy and deeply rooted. Their music hovers somewhere between the nostalgic and the challenging – with echoes of 60s aesthetics, but with an edge and a consciousness that is completely contemporary.
