Spring Japanese Festival in Fort Worth

The Spring Japanese Festival will be held at the Protected content on April 26 – 27 from 9 am to 5 pm. Tickets are available online and may also be purchased the day of, but will cost a bit more. The festival will be held in the Japanese Garden and is presented by the Japanese Society.
There will be cultural demonstrations that will bring forth the beauty and intricacy of Japanese traditions. Tea ceremonies, performances with martial arts, and the voice talents of the Cherry Blossom Children’s Choir, singing in both Japanese and English.
What is a festival without food, so there will be authentic Japanese cuisine prepared by members of the Fort Worth Japanese society. Also available will be some Asian-themed food trucks. You may also shop for uncommon artistic handcrafted goods. There’s opportunity for some unique finds from vendors featuring artwork, traditional Japanese fashion, and handcrafted wares. If you happen to find something you like, purchase it and bring it home to enjoy.
*Please note* - I am NOT hosting this event. I will be here on Sunday but my main objective is to bring it to everyone's awareness if you find it interesting and want to go. You may also go on Saturday.
