Brew Like A Girl!
Dear Beer Enthusiasts,
Did you know that the original brewers were women? It was a household activity and many women started to run their own beer business. They would be called "witches" (wearing pointy hats and using cauldrons) but they were actually brewers.
In the commemoration of International Women's Day, we want to invite you to try out different beers, brewed by Mexican female brewers. In a male dominated industry, these collaborations seek to make visible the important role of female brewers in this country.
Beer collabs:
Historika (pineapple and peach sour)
Impetuosa (Hellesbock)
Siempre Vivas (Mexican lager)
Luz Aguilar, one of our group consuls, participated in the brewing of those beers and she'll be at the event to talk about them along with other female brewers.
Cheers,
