Euripides Laskaridis fuses dance, theater, performance and visual arts, creating works that surpass genres. Chaotic, yet meticulously precise, his universe evokes humor and touching moments. Celebrating gender fluidity and reinventing archetypes, his performances on stage are uniquely captivating.

In his new work, Lapis Lazuli, Euripides draws inspiration from the semi-precious stone of the same name, famous for its striking blue color. A metamorphic rock that exhibits unpredictable behavior under pressure, lapis lazuli has adorned numerous works of art with its radiant and mysterious color, from Tutankhamun's mask to the Renaissance paintings of Titian and the postmodern monochrome works of Yves Klein.

Lapis Lazuli focuses on our existential and primal relationship with fear and terror, seeking to explore a multitude of intriguing dualities, such as the material and the spiritual, the dreamlike and the nightmare, the conscious and the subconscious. In Lapis Lazuli, Euripides weaves a dense network of antitheses on stage where elements of the grotesque, the comic, the capricious and the horrible coexist.
