Anyone happens to have Monday off and is interested in a short trip out of Vienna? Eisenstadt, capital town of Burgenland, is well known because of Haydn, wine and the Esterhazy heritage (which comes in a form of a castle and a tasty cake). Plan is to have the 2 hour walk described on Protected content and discover its majestic castle, the fancy church holding Haydn's remains and mausoleum, the many green areas and lookout points. Train-wise, let's share an Einfach - raus group ticket and catch the 10:15 train from Wien, arriving at Eisenstadt at 11:26. If you have time, we can combine Eisenstadt with a visit to nearby Neusiedler Lake, that's part of Unesco Heritage
