Vernissage „Masterpieces of REPAIR & UPCYCLING“
The exhibition "Masterpieces of REPAIR & UPCYCLING" covers a broad spectrum: from upcycling designs by international designers to creatively repaired everyday clothing by activists and local heroes. The central aspects are UPCYCLING and the aesthetic MENDING of garments.
The exhibition presents over 70 outfits and objects, including works by Viktor & Rolf, Vivienne Westwood, Marine Serre, Bernhard Willhelm, and Susanne Bisovsky. Several exhibits are on loan from the fashion collection of the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
In addition to Viennese exhibits, the exhibition features works by European repair artists from Germany, England, Finland, France, Italy, Scotland, and Switzerland.
